Shukura Chapman

Singer-songwriter / Musician

Her music, while clearly a nod into the direction of soul and funk, still feels fresh and contemporary.

A relatively new face on the scene, Chapman is roots music and giving it a soulful and bluesy vibe.

Shukura Chapman is a UK born, New Zealand raised, Australiabased singer-songwriter & multi-instrumentalist with a powerhouse voice. Shukura’s sound is a refreshing blend of soul, roots & blues influenced by a diverse mix of artists and genres such as Alabama Shakes, Anderson. Paak, SZA and Hiatus Kaiyote. …the soul artist has a classic feel of a vocalist beyond her years and it’s gorgeous to listen to.
